One of the prized non profit organizations that The Vendors Mall-WashingtonDC apparel line donates to is Higher Achievement of Washington DC. Founded in 1975 (both The Vendors Mall's founder and mother both actually attended the program), the academy's mission has been to close the opportunity gap that exists for youth starting in their middle school years. Specifically for underserved youth in disadvantaged areas, they don't get equal access to a quality education due to socioeconomic status.
